COMPENSATION: $145,000-185,000

ABOUT THE POSITION
Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG), one of the world’s largest entertainment companies, is seeking an
experienced Head of Production – Music, Comedy and Special Events (MCE). The Head of Production, MCE
will be the key driver of original content revenue growth in music, comedy, and specialty programming. They
will responsible for designing and executing ATG’s MCE production and original content strategies. The
ideal candidate will be a highly energetic, entrepreneurial, and creative individual who is strategic,
professional, diplomatic and results-oriented.
Reporting to SVP of Music, Comedy and Special Events, World Wide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• The Head of Production will be fully responsible for production and technical aspects of the work –
from creative realization, fabrication, logistics, and technical execution – meet agreed objectives
and exceed expectations.
• Work hand-in-hand with SVP to solicit artists’ teams and third-party IP holders to create
commercially-viable original music, comedy and experiential content and live experiences for ATG
venues and beyond.
• Research and identify emerging talent, staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor
activities, and evolving technology to continuously enhance the quality and innovation of ATG’s
live entertainment offerings.
• Oversee contract negotiations with artists, talent agencies, vendors, and other relevant
stakeholders.
• Collaborate with marketing and PR to develop and implement effective promotional strategies for
events to maximize ticket sales and audience engagement.
• Manage and maintain relationships with artists, agents, venues and other key industry professionals.
• Develop and manage budgets for live events, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial
sustainability.
• Coordinate and liaise with various teams, including venue management, production crew,
technical staff, and security, to ensure smooth event execution.
• Ensure compliance with all necessary legal, safety, and licensing requirements for live events.
• Evaluate the success of events through post-event analysis and reporting, identifying areas for
improvement and implementing necessary adjustments.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
The ideal candidate is expected to:
• 10+ years and proven experience in producing successful and revenue-generating live entertainment
events, ideally in multiple genres such as music, comedy, and immersive experiences. (Broadcast and
OTT experience a plus.)
• Strong industry network and relationships with artists, talent agencies and other relevant IP-holders and
industry professionals.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and
deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, artists,
vendors and other stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Deep knowledge of technical requirements and production aspects related to live event execution.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
• Creative mindset with a passion for delivering unique and memorable entertainment experiences.
• Demonstrate knowledge of emerging live entertainment trends and technology.
• Commercial savvy and business-oriented.
