Ticketing Box Office Strategy Manager

The Ticketing Box Office Strategy Manager will work in conjunction with the VP of Entertainment and Regional Marketing Directors, internal Talent Buyers, local/regional media and artist management to promote the concert/event in the most effective manner possible, promote ticket sales and stay within budget.
Ticketing Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be a resource to local field teams on ticket pricing, event set-up and creative pricing strategy.
Assist and support box office staff in any of their job functions, as needed
Facilitate open communication with the Box Office Manager, staff and all other venue departments
Participate in all on-site venue meetings as needed
Responsible for pricing initiatives such as: Progressive, Platinum, Dynamic, Flex Pricing as well as Value Channels & Special Ticket Offers when applicable.
Complete and distribute accurate daily ticket counts for agents and artists
Create, modify and maintain inventories for all ticketed events in a secure ticketing environment
Follow standards and processes for ticket types, ancillary events and qualifiers
Work with Premium Seat Sales/VIP team on Upsells, inventory management and any other tasks as they arise
Marketing Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with regional marketing manager to create an effective marketing plan, strategy and budget grid for each confirmed show or event
Seek property/management approval for each marketing plan and executes steps to put the plan in place
Ensure accessibility to property contact, with scheduled and daily interaction conference call meetings, email, etc. for strategy, maintenance and recapping shows
Work with radio partners, including acquiring radio proposals, confirming proposals, coordinating on-site set up, concert announcement and website information
Work directly with media buyers to get radio buys, print ads, billboards, digital advertising and all-around media scheduled and placed and/or place direct
Internal teamwork, meetings, recapping and strategy
Research and keep up to date with assigned areas’ relevant events/concerts, media outlets, websites, blogs, radio stations, radio playlists, and demographics
Keep and maintain individual show, monthly and yearly media budgets
Maintain administrative duties – organizing show files, updating budget sheets, tracking ticket counts, etc.

Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Experience in Box Office / Ticketing Management
Experience using AXS ticketing platform preferred
Minimum of three to five years’ experience in marketing, advertising and communications
Comprehensive understanding of marketing, advertising and media buying
Passionate about the music industry, including extensive knowledge of national music scene and artists in order to provide solid support
Knowledge of the inner-workings of radio station, including formats, organizational structure, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; good telephone skills; good listening skills; share information appropriately, with tact and diplomacy
Experience and proven results with client management
Provide exceptional customer-service to clients
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Knowledge of online marketing and analytics including the social media components
Experience in analyzing data and effectively presenting definitive results to client/partners
Reliability – able to see tasks, ideas or projects through, from start to finish; meet deadlines and budget
Ability to thrive in a high-demand, fast-paced environment
Positive attitude – engage in work and be open and approachable
Ability to travel and work flexible hours (days/nights, weekends, and holidays)
