Researcher

Pollstar, the Voice of Live, is looking for a researcher to join our Research team. Job responsibilities include:

·         Work closely with directories editor on all tasks related to Pollstar Directory production and database accuracy

·         Maintaining, updating and preserving the integrity of our various contact databases

·         Heavy data entry with importance on accuracy

·         Outreach to Pollstar Directory reporters through Pollstar’s Directory Update Email System

·         Reconciliation of reporting conflicts on artists, companies, job positions

·         Identification and removal of duplicate records

·         Review industry websites (ROSTR, Billboard, MusicRow, Daily Pulse etc…) for any contact information that would impact the database

·         Customer service via phone and (primarily) email

·         Researching new and existing listings and artists for accuracy

·         Work closely with marketing liaison to ensure accuracy on industry/award/event contact lists

·         Assist with other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Attention to detail

Strong work ethic

Research proficiency

Volume, speed and most importantly accuracy in data entry/curation

Familiarity with publishing and publishing software (e.g. InDesign) a plus

Location: Remote OK

$17/hr
