Objective / Purpose

The Director of Revenue plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for Trueline Greenville starting from its pre-opening stage. This senior position is responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue streams, with a particular focus on booking Private Events and developing the VIP Membership Program. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record of success in sales and revenue management, and a deep understanding of the hospitality and the entertainment industry.

Trueline Greenville is a new art and music venue in downtown Greenville featuring a 1,700 capacity state of the art concert hall, 400 capacity intimate performance room, VIP lounge and more. The venue will be open daily, booking national touring artists, local and regional bands, curated events and community celebrations.  Planned by the co-founder of House of Blues, this new entertainment venue will be the flagship location for a new entertainment brand. Construction is currently underway and the early initiation of private event bookings and the development of a VIP club membership base will prime a robust revenue stream well in advance of the venue’s opening in the Spring of 2025.

Skills and Experience Needed & Preferred

Proven track record of revenue management or sales leadership role, preferably in the hospitality and/or events industry.
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving targets in a competitive market environment.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in revenue management software and CRM systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead a high-performing team.
Professional demeanor and desire to learn and grow within the company.
Experience in Tripleseat, Prism, Hubspot, Canva, Clickup, and Microsoft Suite a plus.
Exceptional written communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities, Duties, and Schedule 

Build and oversee the sales & booking processes for Private Events, VIP Club membership, and Seat Licenses at Trueline.
Create the program for selling the legacy Handlebrick campaign: fans will purchase bricks on a wall as an homage to the original Handlebar venue. 
Duties to include prospecting, negotiations, contract execution, and event coordination.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to generate business opportunities and drive revenue growth. 
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for revenue optimization and expansion. 
Create digital assets such as a robust sales kit.
Stay abreast of industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends to inform revenue strategies and tactics.
Comply with & adhere to all the company’s performance, conduct & attendance standards.
