Location: Walton Arts Center and Walmart AMP, Fayetteville & Rogers, AR

In this pivotal role, you will manage all aspects of safety and security for our renowned venues, ensuring that both the Walton Arts Center and Walmart AMP remain secure, welcoming, and ready for action. With direct oversight of security operations, life safety training, and system maintenance, you’ll coordinate with local, state, and federal authorities to keep our guests and staff safe. Your Role:

As the Director of Safety and Security, you will:

Protect Our Venues: Safeguard our assets, guests, and staff from security risks and safety hazards with proactive measures and vigilant oversight.
Lead and Innovate: Develop strategic plans, policies, and training programs that enhance our security and safety operations.
Manage and Supervise: Oversee security personnel, coordinate with local law enforcement, and ensure compliance with all safety standards.
Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with internal teams, artists, and external agencies to ensure seamless event operations and emergency preparedness.
Budget and Resource Management: Administer budgets, advise on capital projects, and manage security-related systems and equipment.
Training and Development: Implement comprehensive training programs for emergency management, crowd control, and safety procedures.
Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: 5-7 years in event security, live entertainment, law enforcement, or fire service with proven leadership and management capabilities.
Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
Knowledge: Familiarity with federal, state, and local safety codes, and experience with security systems and emergency response.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, endure standing for extended periods, and work in diverse environmental conditions.
